Bid Day: The Day After

Posted by: chadrock on: July 18, 2009

After the Main Event of Sorority Recruitment is over & done with, after the Bid Day euphoria & excitement has calmed down, we’re back to the start of a new day.

And for who knows how many women, it’s the start of a new day as Baby Phis, Baby Pandas, Baby Turtles, etc.

It’s the start of something greater about to begin, something beautiful:  it’s finding out what makes AOII exceed the expectations of others, what makes DZ such a force committed to enriching the world, what makes AGD a contributor to the world’s work…In short, it’s finding out what makes your sisterhoods such formidable presences in the Greek community.

And truth be told:  It’s not arrival but the start of a lifelong journey.  For those who stay on this journey, the benefits & positives are unforgettable, undeniable.  And life only gets more beautiful over time as well.

The day after Bid Day is the start of a new chapter in the lives of who knows how many amazing & wonderful ladies, one which for those who stay on (for life) has no conclusion, only more adventures & life-changing experiences to remember.

Sisterhood is a journey, not a destination.
