Delta Zeta: So Much More

There are lots of reasons to join a sorority:  the sisterhood, the philanthropy, the academics, the fun & good times, just to name a few.  When it comes to joining Delta Zeta, there’s so much more to be said:

Being a DeeZee is so much more than just being in a sorority.  Being a Delta Zeta is about holding yourself to high standards & expectations as much as it is setting high standards & expectations.  It’s about living your values day in & day out.  It’s about giving back to your community & your college/university.  It’s about being committed to academic excellence.  It’s about being a leader on campus as much as it is being a leader within your chapter.  It’s about balancing hard work with the social aspects of college life.

Being a Delta Zeta is not just about finding your voice as a leader.  It’s about bettering yourself as a woman.  Delta Zeta will help you become the woman you’ve always wanted to be – truly, DZ is about helping its undergraduate members discover their fullest potential to be all that they can be!!  Above all, Delta Zeta is about making memories that last a lifetime & friendships that won’t fade – Delta Zeta is forever!!

Sorority Recruitment: So Many Reasons Why

There are so many reasons for joining a sorority/fraternity during Formal/Informal Recruitment.  The first four main reasons why are pretty obvious by now:

First of all, it’s about the sisterhood – discovering a second home away from home, being part of a family atmosphere.  Second, it’s about the philanthropy – being able to make a difference on campus & in our communities, showing others that we’re about doing good things for great & worthy causes.  Third, it’s about academics – moreover, our chapters always put first priority on grades.  And last but not least, it’s about having fun & good times with our sisters!!

But there are other reasons for joining a sorority/fraternity during Formal/Informal Recruitment which are equally important.

Joining a sorority/fraternity is more than just being a sorority/fraternity member.  It’s about both setting & holding yourselves to higher standards & expectations.  It’s about being & holding yourselves accountable. It’s living your values on a daily basis.  It’s striving to give back to your communities & our colleges/universities.  It’s about being committed to academic excellence.  It’s about leading the way on campus & within your chapters.  It’s leading by example so that other women may follow in your footsteps.  It’s about balancing hard work with the more social aspects of your life as an undergraduate.
